last night i read for several hours
one of my favorite authors
good read – but a hard read

as i finished the book way after midnight
my mind began to take me to sadness
due to what i was reading
IMMEDIATELY i told myself STOP

yes these horrible things happen
our world is not perfect
but you have control of your life
don’t dwell on abominable matters

yes there is corrupt chaos
yes there will be wars
yes there will be dishonesty
on and on the ugliness goes

but you have CHOICES
you CHOOSE your path
fill your day full of BEAUTY
DWELL on your BLESSINGS

your world is ready to be EMBRACED
it is full of POSITIVE JOY
waiting for your sweet PASSION
bringing beauty into the lives of others

walk with others down the path of -
FLOWERS BLOOMING
TREES CLIMBING to the HEAVENS
BLUE SKIES of SUNSHINE
WHISPERS of CLEAN FRESH AIR
FEELINGS of CALM DELIGHT

you shall never pass this way again
