GOD sends SUNSHINE
GOD sends clouds
GOD sends rain
GOD sends RAINBOWS

we LOVE SUNSHINE
but without the clouds and rain
there would be no RAINBOWS
we LOVE the beauty of colors
they make us feel HAPPY

negativity in the atmosphere
brings dark ugly clouds
they start to roar in
then comes the rain

life can be like a thunderstorm
it is hard to go through
the harshness of a downpour
that just about knocks you over

the winds are strong and fierce
you try and try to be STRONG
your SPIRIT/SOUL/BODY are tired
so the thunder and lightning roar

when the storm has passed
CALMNESS settles in
the GLORY of GOD’S RAINBOW
shows us the BEAUTY of GROWTH

we need the clouds and rain
GROWING our character to be more -
LOVING
KIND HEARTED
WISER
PATIENT
GENTLE
SELF-CONTROL

we can’t have SUNSHINE all the time
we would never GROW
just like the flowers need rain
we LEARN through our trials

JOY always comes
when we see our RAINBOW
the storm is over
we see GLORIOUS colors of POSITIVITY

GOD allows these storms
all the muck is washed away
leaving LOVING POSITIVITY
our RAINBOW is GLORIOUS

EVENING DELIGHT

walking in my neighborhood
is so DELIGHTFUL
i see many things at night
i truly miss during the day

as i walk i take the time
to admire my LOVELY surroundings
this is not “stop and smell the roses”
this is stop and CHERISH the BEAUTY

to BREATHE in the PEACE
to thank GOD for all the SERENITY
BLESSINGS continue to FLOW
i am discovering the older i get
the more i APPRECIATE the little things in life

before i would have just walked on
not noticing anything around me
yet now i seem to be full of DELIGHT
as i take time to SOAK in all my surroundings

i may pass a place numerous times
for each time i discover
something i never noticed before
the next time you are out for an evening walk

every evening at 8PM
when it does it LIGHTS UP my evening walk

reminding me of KINDNESS
yes his SWEET KINDNESS
it seems to RADIATE to me

a BRIGHT POSITIVE future
a GOOD life
LAUGHTER
HAPPY times

without worrying
